One day, there was such a strong wind that the farmhouse was blown up. Dorothy and Totó, who were inside, were carried to the land of Oz.
In the land of Oz, there were four fairies. Two were good and lived one in the north and one in the south. Two were terrible and lived in the East and West. When the farmhouse fell to the ground, it crushed the Bad Fairy of the East, and she died.

The kind Fairy of the North thanked Dorothy for freeing the gluttons, who lived enslaved by the Bad Fairy of the East. Then the Fairy offered Dorothy help.
Dorothy’s on his way with Toto. Soon he found a Scarecrow hanging from a log, released it, and he said he wanted a brain to think. So Dorothy invited him.
Later, the three of them found a Tin Woodcutter, who wished he had a heart. Soon after, the four found a Lion. The five friends traveled many days along the yellow brick road.
After several adventures, they arrived at the castle of the Wizard of Oz. One at a time was taken to the throne room to talk to him.
The Lion asked the magician to give him courage. The Tin Woodsman wanted a heart. The Scarecrow asked for a brain, and Dorothy wanted to return to his uncles’ farm.
The Wizard of Oz promised to heed everyone’s request if they killed the Wicked Fairy of the West.
The girl went after the Wicked Fairy, who, after trying several times to frighten them. Dorothy took a bucket of water and threw it on her:
The Good Fairies of the South told Dorothy that she could fly with the enchanted little shoes that the Good Fairy of the North had given her Dorothy said goodbye to her friends and flew to her uncles’ farm, carrying Toto in her arms.
